It’s crunch time for Manchester-United as they gear up to face Everton this weekend at Old Trafford. But before the showdown kicks off, let’s dive into the latest injury updates swirling around the Red Devils camp.
First up, the good news: Marcus Rashford, has been spotted back in training despite being subbed off early in the Manchester derby. With his return imminent, United fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
But it’s not just Rashford who’s making strides towards recovery. Jonny Evans is also on the mend, with a potential return slated for the Everton clash.
After back-to-back losses in the top flight, against Fulham and Manchester City, the Reds need to get back to winning ways to help boost our hopes of qualifying for next term’s UEFA Champions-League alive.
United were missing eight first-team squad members against City.
Ten Hag is expected to give an update in today’s press conference, including providing the latest on the likes of Harry Maguire and Rasmus Hojlund, who have been absent of late.
Rasmus Hojlund is grappling with a muscular injury. While the setback isn’t severe, it’s enough to keep him sidelined for a couple of weeks, adding to United’s injury woes.
Maguire however, may return for tomorrow’s game.
